Sue Kalicinska - MBAcC
Sue Kalicinska is a registered acupuncturist, a graduate of the International College of Oriental Medicine where she also trained in therapeutic massage. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. In addition, Sue practices Mental Colour Therapy, being a graduate of the Maitreya School of Healing and a member of the International Association for Colour. Sue facilitates classes and workshops in meditation, healing, and the Yi Jing(I Ching). Sue has been in practice since 1987 and founded the Centre in 1990.
Sue began her professional life in the field of medical physics and holds degrees in physics and nuclear technology as well as acupuncture. She has been an educator in science and maths both in the UK and in the South Pacific and has worked in the field of student welfare.
Ruth Burry - MBAcC
Ruth Burry worked in the areas of interior design, finance and desk top publishing before undertaking training in acupuncture. She is a registered acupuncturist, a graduate of the International College of Oriental Medicine in association with the University of Brighton, where she also trained in therapeutic massage. Ruth is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. In addition Ruth has second degree Reiki and CACDP stage 2 British Sign Language. In addition Ruth offers facial rejuvenation acupuncture, an holistic treatment to combat signs of aging and skin damage.
Jacquie Whitaker
Jacquie Whitaker has been working in the bodywork field for more than 20 years. She is qualified in aromatherapy, reflexology, remedial massage, Mehta Indian head massage, hypnotherapy and beauty treatments. She has worked for many years in sports therapy, especially tennis and athletics, treating such famous stars as Chrissie and John Lloyd, Sue Barker, Linford Christie and Adie Mafe. Jacquie also performs the Bowen technique.
Susan Ashby
Susan Ashby is a Member of British Association for Counselling and an experienced counsellor. She holds certificates in Counselling Skills (Westminster Pastoral Foundation), training those working with child abuse (Open University), bereavement and counselling skills (Cruse), working with drug and alcohol abuse (Drug and Alcohol Foundation), counselling and psychodynamic therapy (Albany Trust), stress management and has a postgraduate diploma in Human Sexuality and Relationship Psychotherapy.
